Mid-State Technical College sought to inspire prospective students by immersing them in career environments made possible through the skills taught at the AMETA Center. They envisioned a space that would not only highlight potential careers but also provide flexibility for community engagement and collaboration.
The AMETA Center’s "Wow Wall" became the centerpiece of this vision, offering students a larger-than-life look at the careers they could aspire to. It provides an engaging yet private way for students to explore career possibilities, while also serving as a tribute to the donors and companies whose contributions made the AMETA Center a reality. This space demonstrates the powerful partnership between Mid-State and the community, helping prospective students make informed career decisions early and effectively.
To enhance functionality, Mid-State also envisioned a highly flexible, combinable room adjacent to the Wow Wall. This space needed to accommodate video conferencing, top-tier presentation capabilities, and exceptional sound quality, serving as a spillover area for community events and corporate gatherings. They turned to Brilliant Marketing and Consulting for innovative ideas on how these spaces could work together to maximize their impact.
Additionally, Mid-State prioritized delivering a high-quality user experience throughout the facility. Drawing from successful past projects, they aimed to create AV systems that were clean, forward-thinking, and reflective of their commitment to excellence. This included outfitting the server room with special lighting to honor the companies contributing to the facility’s success, ensuring every aspect of the space projected professionalism and inspiration.
With these elements combined, the AMETA Center offers a cutting-edge environment that inspires students, engages the community, and reflects a shared vision for the future.
