Q-SYS Programming

If you're facing a QSC Q-SYS project that exceeds your team’s capacity or expertise, we’re here to help you excel. With extensive experience in video routing, audio mixing, and crafting intuitive user experiences, we’ll ensure your project stands out. And our commitment doesn’t end with completion—we’ll support you long after the project is done. Whether it’s a straightforward conference room, a sophisticated presentation space, or a multifunctional environment with seamless third-party device integrations, we’ll deliver a solution that surpasses expectations.

We begin every project by gaining a deep understanding of your requirements and objectives. This crucial phase involves conceptualizing ideas that align with our collective vision and goals. At the heart of this process is our Programming Directives document, which serves as a comprehensive roadmap, detailing:

  • Main AV signal flow and peripheral control diagrams
  • User control requirements and UCI impact diagrams
  • Inventory of all required components with peripheral control specifications
  • Main Rack Stack(if required) signal flow including network switching & AC power is defined
  • Presenter / Lectern Equipment Stack is defined
  • User-centric hardware specifications (any customizations to mounts, racks, cables or installation hardware are identified)
  • Alignment of the desired user experience with our Brand-Aware Extended Control™ Standards
Meticulous Signal Flow in Schematics

This structured approach ensures clarity, precision, and alignment with your expectations from the very start.

Engineering, Development & AV Lab Testing

During the Engineering, Programming, and Testing phase, we define all major AV components and signal flows to maximize system performance and efficiency. Every system undergoes extensive testing to meet the highest standards of quality. We emulate your system using our lab network switches with AV production profiles, replicating your network schema to ensure a seamless plug-and-play experience upon installation.

Feedback is actively gathered and incorporated into the final design to optimize performance and user experience. Key tasks completed during this phase include:

  • Developing Q-SYS schematics for all specified equipment and signal flows.
  • Configuring all equipment and documenting it in our Network Worksheet, which is shared in the customer/partner area to maintain full transparency with your IT team.
  • Implementing any User Control Interface (UCI) design additions or changes into our CSS stack.Conducting final full reboot tests to verify system stability and readiness.
